Benicio Del Toro turned down Star Trek 2
Talks with Benicio Del Toro about his participation in the sequel to Star Trek ended to no avail: the actor refused the role offered to him. This is reported by the resource Latino Review. Note that it is still unknown what role was discussed. It was only assumed that Del Toro could play the main villain named Khan. Recall that the sequel will premiere in May 2013, and director JJ Abrams plans to start movieing in early 2012.
