George Clooney is set to star in a remake of Alfred Hitchcock's classic Birds, according to WorstPreviews. Actor Rod Taylor, who played in the original movie, has already expressed his approval for this. “I’m always very skeptical about remakes, however, I will not judge this movie in advance now that I know that Clooney can play in it,” Taylor said in a recent interview.

Recall that the main female role in the remake is to be played by Naomi Watts, and the movie will be directed by Martin Campbell.
