The collaboration between Sanda Bullock and George Clooney will continue in unexpected ways. As reported by ThePlaylist, the actress will lead the team of the "female" remake of the adventure movie "Ocean's Eleven".

The director agreed to be Gary Ross, whose assets include such movies as "Pleasantville" and "The Hunger Games". George Clooney will co-produce the movie. The idea of rebooting the franchise is said to have originated back in 2014, but the case stalled after the death of Jerry Weintraub, producer of the original movies featuring George Clooney, in the summer of 2015. However, now with the appointment of screenwriter Olivia Milch, the project has gotten off the ground.

Terms of work on the painting have not yet been specified. Ross will most likely start work after the Free State of Jones premiere in May 2016. A possible rental schedule is also not named.

Recall that the original crime comedy "Ocean's Eleven" was released in 2001. With a production budget of $ 85 million, the movie grossed $ 450 million worldwide. In 2004 and 2007, two sequels were released. The earnings of the latter turned out to be much more modest - 362 and 311 million dollars.
