Fantastic novel by George Orwell `` One thousand nine hundred and eighty-fourth '', considered the most famous work about totalitarianism, will survive the next movie adaptation.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Imagine Entertainment will popularize the work of the famous writer.

The novel is set in the fictional country of Oceania, in which individualism and the right to privacy are illegal, and all actions of people are watched by the leader of the ruling party - the Big Brother.

The protagonist works in the Ministry of Truth and outwardly fully meets all the requirements of a totalitarian society, but in his heart he hates the existing system and regime.

In order not to do anything stupid, he keeps a diary, in which he expresses all his doubts. Soon he enters into a forbidden love affair that changes his whole life.

In the USSR, the book was banned until 1988, it was censored in many other countries.

The novel was movieed in 1984, the main role in the movie was played by John Hurt.
