A remake of Shaolin Temple to be shot in China
Chinese movie studios Motion Pictures and China Film Group have announced their intention to revive one of the most famous martial arts movies. According to Variety, it is about the painting `` Shaolin Temple '', released in 1982. Jackie Chan, Andy Lau and Feng Bingbing will star in the remake. Real Shaolin monks will be involved as extras. The $ 29 million movie is expected to begin movieing at the end of this year. The Shaolin Temple became the debut for the then unknown Jet Li, whose real name is Li Lianjie. The plot was built around a teenager who, after the death of his father, ends up in the Shaolin monastery and masters all the wisdom of the martial art.
