James Cameron made changes to the Titanic
Despite his promise not to make any changes to the original Titanic footage, James Cameron still edited it. According to Mashable, this edit was another confirmation of the director's well-known perfectionism. In the episode in which the heroine Kate Winslet lies on a wooden fragment of the interior of the liner, she looks at the stars. During the movieing of the picture, Cameron did not attach importance to their correct location. But this did not go unnoticed by astronomers. One of them, named Neil diGrace Tyson, wrote a letter to the director, in which he pointed out the error. Cameron invited the astronomer to send a map of the starry sky, which the heroine was supposed to see on April 15, 1912 at 4:20 am in this part of the Atlantic Ocean. Which he did.
