Ed Harris will board a Soviet nuclear submarine
Ed Harris, Andy Garcia and Natasha McElhone will star in Phantom, which will be funded by RCR Media Group. This is reported by the Variety edition. The plot will be built around the captain of a Soviet nuclear submarine cruiser, who leaves his pregnant wife at home to go to the ocean with a secret mission of the party and government. Along the way, he will have to deal with the ghosts of the past, malevolent KGB agents and, in the end, save the world from nuclear war. The director of the movie, whose budget is estimated at only $ 18 million, will be Todd Robinson. Filming will begin in California in October 2011.
