Ivan Reitman refused to shoot Ghostbusters 3 (Topic)

Ivan Reitman has stepped down as director of Ghostbusters 3. This is reported by the publication Deadline.

According to the director himself, he made this decision after the death of Harold Ramis. Reitman intends to remain a producer of the movie and in the near future will start looking for his successor in the director's chair.

Despite this development, Columbia Pictures still expects to start movieing in early 2015.

Recall that the plot should be built around a new generation of ghostbusters, but the members of the first team also had to take part.
