Joseph Kosinski's movie Oblivion will be the first Hollywood movie project to be originally mixed in Dolby Atmos. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The sound is mixed at Skywalker Sound, formerly part of Lucasmovie founded by George Lucas. “Joe is very passionate about modern technology. He chose the F65 (Sony - Cinema News note) for movieing, and he intends to bring viewers the finest soundtrack to date. All its elements were originally calculated for the Atmos format, '' said Dolby spokesman Stuart Bowling. Recall that the picture will be released in April 2013.
