Dolby has unveiled a list of promising movie projects to be released with Atmos soundtrack. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Among them are such anticipated movies as Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Rio 2, X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Incredible Life of Walter Mitty, 300: Rise of an Empire, The Hobbit 2: The Desolation of Smaug, I, Frankenstein and others. Recall that the format was introduced in the spring of 2012, and since then has gained great popularity among moviemakers. In total, more than 80 pictures with an Atmos soundtrack have been released.
