The winners of the Kinotavr Film Festival have been announced (Topic)

The winners of the 25th Kinotavr Film Festival have been announced in Sochi. The main prize went to the movie Trial, directed by Alexander Kott.

The movie, in which the characters do not utter a single word, tells about a love story against the backdrop of the tests of the first Soviet atomic bombs in the late 40s XX century.

Anna Melikyan, who shot the movie `` Star '', was awarded a prize in the director's nomination. The best actors were Severia Yanushauskaite (Star) and Alexey Filimonov (Another Year).

The director Ivan Tverdovsky, who presented the picture "Correction Class", was recognized as the best debutant. Yuri Bykov received the Gorin Prize for Best Screenplay.
