The results of the Kinotavr 2016 festival have been summed up in Sochi. The main prize was awarded to the movie "Good Boy", directed by Oksana Karas. The comedy tells the story of a student who falls in love with his teacher, but his love is hindered by a host of unforeseen circumstances. The production budget of the project was more than 50 million rubles.
The Kinotavr 2016 award for the best director went to Kirill Serebrennikov, who directed the drama The Apprentice. Among the actors, the best were Konstantin Khabensky, who played the main role in the movie "The Collector", and Natalia Pavlenkova, who starred in the movie "Zoology".
