List of key characters in The Walking Dead spin-off revealed
In early September 2014, AMC commissioned the production of a pilot episode of the Walking Dead companion series, Fear the Walking Dead. TV Line managed to get a list of key characters in the upcoming zombie series. Sean Cabrera – a man of Hispanic origin, a little over forty, a good man and tries to do the right thing with everyone who comes across in his life. Cody Karbera – Sean's son, a witty and rebellious teenager. Known as the wicked kid in town. Nancy Tompkins – single mother over thirty with two children. Nancy looks like the girl next door, however, and her patience is not unlimited. Nick Tompkins – Nancy's son, a nervous teenager. He's too old to stay at home and too scared to flee. Ashley Tompkins – daughter Nancy, a sensible and cold-blooded teenager. Her ambitions are perpendicular to those of her older brother. She loves her mother, but it's time to get out of Dodge. Andrea Chapman – a slightly faded hippie after forty, Andrea moved to the outskirts of the city to recover from a terrible marriage. AMC is positioning an upcoming series – if the production of the whole season is ordered – as an independent show, which should shed light on the events of the zombie apocalypse taking place in other parts of the world. Perhaps in places where the number of survivors still exceeds the number of infected. The script for the pilot was written by the author of The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson, who is appointed executive producer and showrunner of the TV project.
