Jennifer Jason Leigh to star in Quentin Tarantino movie
Jennifer Jason Leigh will play the female lead in The Hateful Eight western directed by Quentin Tarantino. This is reported by The Wrap with reference to numerous sources. The movie will take place in the US state of Wyoming immediately after the Civil War. In the story, two bounty hunters, a sheriff and a prisoner accompanied by them take refuge on one of the farms to wait out the bad weather, and possibly repel the attack of four shooters who want to free the prisoner. Jennifer Jason Leigh will play a character named Daisy, charged with murder and sentenced to death. Filming should start in December 2014. It is also expected to star Christoph Waltz, Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen. Recall that the preparation for the movieing of the western was accompanied by a whole series of scandals. So, at the end of 2013, a draft version of the movie's script hit the Internet, and at the beginning of 2014, Tarantino announced that he would not shoot the movie, since he could not trust the actors who made such a leak. However, later, the director changed his anger and mercy again began work on the project, promising to significantly change its plot.
