British Academy of Motion Picture Awards have been announced
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts announced the winners of its Television Achievement Award on Sunday 18 May 2014. The ITV drama series Murder on the Beach won three awards - Best Drama, Best Drama Actress (Olivia Colman) & Best Supporting Drama Actor (David Bradley). For Coleman, this is the third BAFTA award, and for Bradley – first. As for the titles of Best Drama Actor and Best Supporting Drama Actress went to Sean Harris (Southcliff) and Sarah Lancashire (Last Tango in Halifax). For the first time, Netflix won the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards for Breaking Bad, which was voted Best Foreign Series. Best Comedians starring Richard Ioade and Katherine Parkinson in the series Channel 4's Geeks. Best Situation Comedy won the series `` He and She '', and the best mini-series was the drama `` In the Flesh '' (`` In the flesh ''). Both TV projects are owned by BBC Three.
