Game of Thrones series wins prestigious British award
Founded in the UK in 1927, the oldest television community, the Royal Television Society, presented its annual RTS Program Awards for achievements in television in 2013. Winner of the award in the category `` Best Foreign Series '' became the HBO fantasy show Game of Thrones. Among the drama series, the victory was won by the drama Murder on the Beach (ITV) starring David Tennant and Olivia Coleman. The latter became the `` best actress '' and was awarded a cumulative award for her work on the series Murder on the Beach and " Run ". Best Actor was Idris Elba for her role in the TV series Luther.
