The Matrix and Dirty Harry are US National Treasures
The Library of Congress of the United States has presented an annual list of movies that are recognized as national treasure and will be sent for eternal storage to the special archives of the National Film Registry. In particular, the list includes such movie projects as The Matrix, Dirty Harry, Breakfast at Tiffany's, A League of Its Own, Anatomy of a Murder and other well-known tapes. Recall that according to the law called the National Film Preservation Act; every year 25 movies are selected that have cultural and historical value. At least 10 years must pass from the moment of the premiere of the paintings.
