Actress and model Lydia Hirst has a role in WE tv's upcoming eight-episode horror movie "South of Hell". This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Hirst will play Charlotte, a heroine, judging by the description, incredibly beautiful and sexy – a real fiery southerner. She is a smart and relaxed drug addict with experience.

The production of a thriller with horror elements was ordered in May 2014. The main character of the series – a demon hunter named Maria Abascal. The action takes place in Charleston, South Carolina, where Maria lives and works. She is skilled and fearless in her pursuit of demons that inhabit humans. Like those she hunts, Maria is in an incessant struggle with her own demon - Abigail - who lives in her, feeding on evil, which Mary casts out of others. Maria and Abigail share the same soul and destiny, but as Maria desperately tries to defeat Abigail, she has to find out what Abigail is capable of in order to remain a part of her.

A drama produced by Eli Roth and by Sonar Entertainment and Blumhouse Television, will be released on WE tv in 2015. Showrunner duties are assigned to James Manos Jr. ("Dexter's Justice"). The script for the first episode, to be directed by Eli Roth ("Hostel"), was written by Matt Lambert. Jason Bloom ("River") and Roth will executive produce.
