The British Museum will showcase a real Frankenstein monster
The British Museum intends to show fans of gothic literature and cinema a real Frankenstein's monster. According to The Telegraph, on October 3, 2014, with the support of the National Library, the Horror and Miracles exhibition will open. Within its framework, a unique illustration for the first edition of the famous work of Mary Shelley will be demonstrated. The image of the monster captured on it differs significantly from the one that later immortalized Boris Karloff in the 1931 painting. No neck bolts, paper clips or terrible scars, the monster from the first edition is much more like an ordinary person.
