Chilean director to movie Scarface Remake
Universal Pictures has appointed Chilean director Pablo Larraine to direct the remake of the acclaimed gangster drama Scarface. This is reported by The Wrap. In the center of the plot in the new version will be a native of Mexico, who is building his criminal empire in Los Angeles. The main character will be called Tony, as in the picture by Brian De Palma, released in 1983, but he will have a different surname. Recall that the original movie Scarface was released in 1932.
