Former directors of the first "Star Wars" spin-off, Chris Miller and Phil Lord, were in separate talks with DC Films to co-create "The Flash" in between jobs. This is reported by The Wrap, citing its sources.

The directors met with the studio management shortly after it became known that Rick Famuyiva had left the DC comics adaptation. It is not yet known whether Miller and Lord were already discussing the possibility of abandoning the production of the movie "Han Solo".

Note that the studio DC Films itself expects to attract much more experienced Robert Zemeckis as the director of "Flash", however At the time of this writing, nothing was known about the results of negotiations between the parties on this matter.

Recall also that "Flash" is one of the long-term construction of DC Films and Warner Bros. Early on, several directors left the project at various stages of production. The reason given was "creative differences" with management. The release of the movie is scheduled for March 2018, but now this rental schedule seems unrealistic, since it is impossible to complete the shooting and editing of a movie of this scale in the time remaining before the premiere.
