The Flash adaptation of the DC Comics series has had a new scriptwriter. According to The Wrap, citing its sources, the new version will be prepared by Joby Harold, who has scripts for two still unreleased movies - "The Sword of King Arthur" and "Robin Hood: The Beginning".

Note that Warner Bros. planned to release the movie "The Flash" in March 2018, but after a series of resignations of directors, most likely, they will be forced to postpone the premiere. Recall that in 2016, two directors at once refused to work on the project: in April, Seth Graham-Smith did it, and in November - Rick Famuyiva. In both cases, an unspecified "creative disagreement" with the studio's management was cited as the reason.

Ezra Miller was listed as the performer of the title role at the time of this writing. Viewers could see him in the form of a superhero in the promo video for the movie "Justice League", which was presented in 2016.

When the studio will be able to start movieing "The Flash" sources of The Wrap did not specify. With the best possible coincidence, this may not happen until the fall of 2017, and therefore, viewers will be able to see the movie in theaters no earlier than the end of 2018 or the beginning of 2019.
