Zombies cannot swim, but don't assume it's safe to be in the water. Dave Erickson, executive producer and showrunner for AMC's Fear the Walking Dead, made this statement at the PaleyFest in Los Angeles. "They can move along the bottom of the pond ... We figured out the best way to kill these underwater zombies. They don't sink. They float," Erickson explained. His words are quoted by the publication Deadline.

Two short excerpts from the upcoming second season of the series were shown at the festival. In the first clip, the group gathered on deck discusses whether Victor Strand (Colman Domingo) can be trusted. In the second video, Nick Clarke (Frank Dillane) is under water, and very close to him - and ndash; zombies.

Recall that in the second season of the show, a group of survivors find themselves aboard a yacht owned by the mysterious Victor Strand.
