Trouble continues to plague Warner Bros. This time, she is named a defendant in the lawsuit filed against her in the Los Angeles Supreme Court by the famous Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone. According to the Daily Mail, the latter accused the studio of "fraud and willful deception."

Stallone's claims relate to a contract with the studio for his participation in the fantasy action movie "Destroyer", released in 1993. According to the terms of the agreement, the actor was supposed to receive 15 percent of the box office if they exceeded $ 125 million, and 17.5 percent if the movie's earnings turned out to be more than $ 200 million.

The Destroyer earned at the worldwide box office. $ 159 million, however, the studio's earnings from the sale of the movie on VHS, and in the future on disk media could be much more. In 2014, Stallone's lawyers contacted the studio management with a request about this, but received the answer that the picture did not receive any profit, and therefore the actor was not entitled to any additional payments. After additional scrutiny, he was paid $ 2.8 million without explanation.

Stallone hopes his lawsuit will help other actors to assert their rights in disputes with the studio.
