Marvel and FX to movie a pilot about Charles Xavier's son
Marvel Publishing teams up with FX and Fargo creator and showrunner Noah Hawley to produce the Legion pilot about Professor Charles Xavier's son, Legion. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The Legion pilot will feature the story of David Holler, a man who fought mental illness since adolescence. Over the years, David was periodically treated for schizophrenia in psychiatric clinics. But after a chance acquaintance with one patient, he learns that the voices he hears in his head and the visions in front of his eyes may be real. In print comics, David is the son of X-Men leader and founder Charles Xavier (Professor X) and Holocaust survivor Gabriella Holler.
