Paramount withdrew from Comic-con 2015
The annual Comic-con 2015 festival of fans of comics and their adaptations has lost another participant. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount has refused to hold presentations in Hall H's main audience. The reasons for this decision are not specified. It also became known that the Sony Pictures studio will not present its promising projects, and only its subsidiary Screen Gems will hold several presentations, in particular, it will talk about the movieing of the movie Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Recall that earlier it became known about the refusal of the Marvel studio to participate in Comic-con 2015. It was argued that, according to the company's management, one of the pillars of the comic book industry simply has nothing to demonstrate to its fans. This explanation seemed rather strange, since the studio had several highly anticipated projects at work, including the movie "The First Avenger 3: Civil War". Also, fans of Marvel comics counted on the fact that they will be presented with a new performer of the role of Spider-Man. Walt Disney will be represented at Comic-con 2015 by a subsidiary of Lucasmovie, which will give a presentation on the development of the Star Wars universe.
