The series in a circle is renewed for the third season
DirecTV's original anthology 'In A Circle' has been renewed for a third season, which will air in 2016. Dougray Scott and Kim Raver will star in the drama for which the third season is written by George Zamakona, who is also an executive producer. Filming for the ten half-hour episodes will begin in January 2016 in Los Angeles. This is reported by the publication Deadline. The third season will explore the dark underworld of national politics. The focus will be on a sexual scandal that threatens to destroy the presidential candidate and put an end to his successful election. As was the case in the first season, written by Neil LaBoot, and in the second season, written by Keith Huff, in the upcoming third season, viewers will be presented with a chain of characters, interacting with each other over ten episodes. As in the previous two seasons, the cast will include renowned television actors, led by Scott (Hostage 3) and Raver (24 Hours: Live Another Day). How Zamacona got started his career from the TV series "St. Elsver" and went on to such shows as "Law & Order", "Slaughter Department", "OZ Prison" and "Third Shift". At the time of this writing, he is part of the writing team for The Last Ship. BAFTA award winner Nick Hamm ("The Beast") has been appointed to direct the third season.
