Syfy commissioned the production of three pilots: the artificial intelligence drama "The Machine" based on the 2013 movie of the same name "Machine"; to the supernatural horror-drama "The Haunted"; and the series "Happy!", which will be based on the graphic novel of the same name by Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson. This is reported by the publication Deadline.

The plot of "The Machine" is set in a world that is being transformed with the advent of artificial intelligence. The project explores the epic conflict between man and technology through the lives and motives of six interconnected characters, each with the key to the victory or collapse of humanity. The director of "Cars" Karadog V. James has been appointed executive producer of the pilot, along with movie producer John Giva-Amu.

The supernatural horror "The Haunted" follows four siblings reunited after their parents died. As they try to resolve long-standing contradictions and forge relationships with each other, they realize that they must literally face ghosts from their past in order to survive. Noga Landau (The Wizards) wrote the script for the pilot and will executive produce with James Frey and Todd Cohen (American Gothic).

The main character of Happy! - Drinking former corrupt cop Nick Sachs turned hitman. He lives in a world of soulless sex, murder and betrayal. But one day everything changes when he meets an imaginary blue horse with wings, "ruthlessly positive." Morrison and Brian Taylor ("Adrenaline") will write the script and share the responsibilities of executive producers. Taylor will also remove the pilot.
