Matt Reeves refused to direct a solo Batman movie
Matt Reeves declined to take the vacant Batman solo director's post. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the director withdrew from the negotiation process with the leadership of Warner Bros. The reason for his decision was not specified. Sources in the studio emphasize that its leadership still hopes for the possibility of resuming negotiations with Reeves, "when the heads cool down a little," which suggests that there is some kind of conflict between the parties.
