Olivia Wilde to star in Tron 3
Olivia Wilde will play one of the main roles in the sequel to Tron: Legacy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress has to re-embody the image of Quarra on the screen. Thus, Wilde became the second participant in the original project, in addition to Garrett Hedlund, whose return to the sequel is officially confirmed. Filming, tentatively titled Tron 3: Ascent, will take place from October 2015 to February 2016 in Vancouver. The Walt Disney Film Studio had previously approved Joseph Kosinski to direct the movie. The rental schedule of the painting has not been specified at the time of this writing. Tron: Legacy, starring Jeff Bridges, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett, Michael Sheen and more, was released in 2010. A large fan base and a large-scale advertising campaign could not provide the project with impressive earnings. The movie grossed a disappointing $ 400 million worldwide, which cast doubt on the feasibility of movieing a sequel.
