Frank Darabont resigned from the post of director of the movie "The Hunter", which was supposed to be a sequel to the movie "Snow White and the Huntsman." According to Variety, the director left the project due to creative differences with the management of the Universal studio.

Who will replace Darabont is still unknown. Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron are expected to star in the movie again. As for the leading actress Kristen Stewart, most likely she will not participate in the project. Recall that the movie "Snow White and the Huntsman" was released in 2012 and earned $ 400 million worldwide.

Its premiere was accompanied by a scandal involving Stewart and director Rupert Sanders. The latter's wife, Liberty Ross, also starred in the movie. For some time, the couple tried to save the family, but the final reconciliation did not take place: in January 2013, Liberty Ross filed for divorce.

The premiere of the movie "The Hunter" was scheduled for April 22, 2016. Whether changes will be made to the rental schedule in connection with the resignation of Darabont has not yet been specified. Also unknown are the plans of the director himself, whose schedule at the time of this writing did not include a single feature movie.
