20th Century Fox Confirms Prometheus Sequel Title

20th Century Fox has confirmed the title of the sequel to the movie "Prometheus", previously voiced by director Ridley Scott. According to Comingsoon, citing a press release from the studio, the movie will indeed be called "Alien: Covenant", which can be translated as "Alien: Covenant".

The picture will be presented to viewers on October 6, 2017. It is worth noting that the premiere of the movie "The Jungle Book: Beginning", which is going to be movieed by Warner Bros. studio, is announced on the same day. It is likely that some of the projects will eventually have to make room.

The official synopsis of the movie was also announced. "Arriving on a planet on the other side of the galaxy, the crew of the Covenant colonial ship discovered a world that was considered an unexplored paradise, but turned out to be a gloomy and dangerous world, the only inhabitant of which is the synthetic man David, a member of the missing Prometheus expedition.

Michael Fassbender will again play one of the main roles, but the participation of Noomi Rapace, taking into account the presented synopsis, remains open to question. Ridley Scott plans to start movieing in February 2016. Some of them will take place in Australia, the government of which has agreed to provide financial incentives.
