Candyman's Star Gets A Role In The Flash
Vanessa Williams ("Candyman") has been cast as the mother of Iris West (Candice Patton) and the wife of Detective Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) in the second season of The CW Telecomic "The Flash". It is reported by the Variety edition. Exactly which episode of the second season will feature Williams' character is not disclosed, and there are no details to explain her absence in the first season. In the second season of the show, more attention will be paid to the West family. As previously reported, the upcoming season will feature legendary Wally West (Keinan Lonsdale), Iris's nephew, Barry Allen's sidekick (Grant Gustin) and a possible replacement for The Flash.
