A face-to-face defense of projects by leading movie companies applying for state funding took place in Moscow. Promising movies were presented to members of the expert and board of trustees of the Federal Fund for Social and Economic Support of Domestic Cinematography by Art Pictures Studio, Cinema Directorate, STV Film Company, Non-Stop Production, TriTe Studio Nikita Mikhalkov, Bazelevs, " Central Partnership and Enjoy Movies. Most of the movie projects - five each - were presented by CTB Film Company and Enjoy Movies. Three movies were presented by Bazelevs studio. Art Pictures Studio intends to spend about 400 million rubles on the creation of a fantastic movie "Attraction" dedicated to contacts of residents of the USA capital with an extraterrestrial civilization. It is expected that the main role in this movie will be played by Oleg Menshikov. Slightly more, about 450 million rubles, will cost the project of the STV Film Company "Salyut-7. The Story of a Feat". There was also a presentation of the fantastic movie "Phoenix", declared as a project dedicated to superheroes. The budget is about 400 million rubles. The company "TriTe" intends to tell domestic moviegoers about the victory of the Soviet basketball team over the Americans in 1972. "Central Partnership" is ready to please with pictures "Kolovrat" and "Nevsky Pyatachok", and Bazelevs studio is preparing the fifth part of the popular series "Fir Trees".
