"Blade" trilogy star Wesley Snipes has been confirmed for the lead role in the pilot for NBC's "Endgame" drama. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

The Endgame storyline is set in the high-stakes world of Las Vegas, where a former sniper and now a security expert (Philip Winchester, "Strike Back") gets caught into a mysterious conspiracy and, as a result of a series of heroic actions, saves innocent lives.

Snipes will play Johnson, an imperturbable guy with restrained humor. Incredibly intelligent and analytical. The casino manager of The Game, he keeps a close eye on the big picture, but he is also able to deal with the problem when things get out of hand.
