Wesley Snipes is back on the crime track

Image In recent years, Wesley Snipes' film career has been rapidly going downhill. To regain his luck and restore his reputation in Hollywood, the actor went all-in and agreed to play the bad guy. The last time Snipes portrayed a notorious villain in 1993 in the famous sci-fi action movie "Destroyer".

Wesley will serve as a producer and co-star in the action-thriller tentatively titled Payline. The creators of the picture position it as a cross between "Ocean's Eleven" and "Shootout". The action will unfold in a casino located in a small town, which will turn into a real battlefield when two different groups of robbers descend on it at once. According to preliminary information, Snipes will appear as the leader of one of the opposing gangs.

In 2004, Wesley fell out with the creators of the Blade franchise and lost a stable source of income. Since then, almost every film with his participation was sent straight to video. A serious blow to the actor's image was also caused by problems with the law: in 2010, Snipes was imprisoned for tax evasion. The actor was released six years ago and rather quickly starred in the third part of "The Expendables", but even such a high-profile franchise did not help his career.
