Luke Evans gets raw in Beauty and the Beast
Luke Evans joins the cast of "Beauty and the Beast" by Walt Disney Studios. According to Variety, the actor got the role of Gaston, the main antagonist of the classic fairy tale. Hunter Gaston is one of the most colorful characters in "Beauty and the Beast", who reasonably considers himself completely irresistible and persistently seeking Belle's favor. The role of the main character in the movie will be played by Emma Watson. It also became known that Dan Stevens, familiar to viewers from the movies "Guest", "Night at the Museum 3: Secret of the Tomb" and the TV series "Downton Abbey", will play the enchanted prince. As a reminder, Emma Watson previously intended to play Belle in a competing production by Warner Bros. The project was put on hold after director Guillermo Del Toro left, citing a conflict in movieing schedules. The new "Beauty and the Beasts" will be another attempt by Walt Disney Studios to draw the audience's attention to classic fairy tales.
