Dolby Laboratories, Inc. and The Walt Disney Studios have agreed to make Tomorrowland, The Jungle Book and Pixar's Puzzle the first Dolby Vision movies to be shown in Dolby Cinema. The premieres will take place in different countries of the world, according to the official press release.

Dolby Cinema are luxury cinemas that use the Dolby Vision projection system. A key element will be the next generation of Christie 6P 4K laser projectors featuring "high dynamic range" technology, with a brightness range well above standard. The halls are also equipped with Dolby Atmos sound systems.

Recall that the Dolby Cinema project was presented at the end of 2014. In addition to unique technical characteristics, such halls will also offer unique marketing opportunities, in particular, electronic branding of the entrance to the cinema, which will be performed in the style of the movie being shown at the moment.

Dolby was said to plan to work with partners in the following way: the company pays for the projection systems, and the owners of the cinemas at their own expense make the refurbishment and necessary modernization of the halls.
