AIF awards Russell Crowe movie
The National Film Academy Awards ceremony took place in Australia. For the first time in the history of this organization, the main prize in the category "Best Film" was shared by two movie projects - the drama "Water Seeker", directed by Russell Crowe, and the horror movie "Babaduk". The creator of the latter, Jennifer Kent, also won the Best Director category. Vengeance won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, and Lego Movie won Best Special Effects and Animation.
