Mariah Carey cast in Empire
Mariah Carey has a guest role in the second season of the hip-hop drama Empire. This was announced by one of the show's creators, Lee Daniels. Fox, however, refrains from commenting, and sources from The Hollywood Reporter say that there is currently no agreement on the appearance of Carey in the series. The role in "Empire" will be the fourth experience of cooperation between Carey and Daniels. In 2008, the singer starred in Daniels' production project "Tennessee", in 2009 – in the drama "Push", and in 2013 – in The Butler.
