The shooting of the movie about Alexey Leonov has started
The BAZELEVS movie company and the Third Rome studio have begun movieing the movie "Time of the First", which is dedicated to Alexei Leonov and his heroic exit into open space. This was announced in an official press release received by the editorial staff of the "Novosti Kino" portal. The main role will be played by the popular USA actor Yevgeny Mironov, the role of the spaceship commander Pavel Belyaev will be played by Konstantin Khabensky. This will be the first joint project for the two actors. “Our story is connected not only with space, but also with a man's overcoming of himself, which is always interesting, no matter in which direction it takes place. It is pleasant to tell this story with a wonderful partner Yevgeny Mironov and under the guidance of a wonderful director Yuri Bykov,” commented Konstantin Habesian. Before movieing, both actors were trained on the same simulators that Alexei Leonov and Pavel Belyaev did half a century ago. Leonov himself, as well as specialists from NPO Energia and NPP Zvezda are the project consultants. The movie "Time of the First" will be movieed with stereoscopic cameras. The Hollywood stereographers team is led by Josh Fritts. The second stage of movieing will take place in winter, when episodes of an emergency landing in the taiga will be created.
