Warner Bros. Film Studio postponed the premiere of the fantastic movie "Geostorm", which was going to shoot the famous Hollywood screenwriter and director Dean Devlin. According to the publication Deadline, instead of January 13, 2017, as previously planned, viewers will be able to see the picture on October 20 of the same year.

The reason for the change in the rental schedule was not specified. Note that this is not the first postponement of the premiere of this movie. It was originally announced on October 21, 2016. In this "rental window" Geostorm has no direct competitors yet. The science fiction movie Blade Runner 2 kicks off two weeks earlier, and the crime thriller The Snowman on October 13, 2017.

Geostorm's plot revolves around an engineer who is sent into Earth orbit to prevent a devastating hurricane from occurring, which could be caused by a malfunctioning satellite systems responsible for climate control.

The movie stars Catherine Winnick, Gerard Butler, Abbie Cornish, Ed Harris, Jim Sturgess, Robert Sheehan, Andy Garcia, Sterling Jerins, Alexandra Maria Lara, Mayor Winningham and other actors. The production budget for the project has not been specified at the time of this writing.
