UCP will continue to develop Wes Craven's TV projects (Topic)

TV content producer Universal Cable Productions, which signed an agreement on several projects with Wes Craven in April this year, intends to continue working after the news of the death of the horror master on August 30, 2015. Projects in development include a Syfy adaptation of Daryl Gregory's We Are All Completely Fine, in which Craven was to write and direct; a TV series based on Craven's 1991 movie Men Under the Stairs (also for SyFy); and a dramatic project based on the yet unpublished graphic novel "Disciples" by Steve Nils. The company's management believes that all projects, which, among other things, as an executive producer, are dealt with by Craven's manager, bear the creative stamp of the master. "Wes Craven was a real artist, a gentleman, and we were incredibly pleased to work with him," says Universal Cable Productions in a statement. “We intend to bring to life all projects that Craven worked with our company. Fortunately, these projects have developed under his direct leadership from the very beginning. We will continue what we started in his honor. "
