Stealth action "Splinter Cell" is now available to everyone for free. As reported by Gamespot, in honor of its 30th anniversary, Ubisoft is giving away various famous games.

At the time of this writing, the store is available "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time". As part of this promotion, users will be offered 7 games (one per month for a year). The next one will be announced around mid-August 2016.

To get one of them forever, you just need to find the desired one in the store and add it to the library.

Recall that "Splinter Cell 1" is the very first game from the famous series that was launched in 2002. Since then, many sequels have come out, and the project itself has received a large number of different awards. The last game at the time of this writing was "Splinter Cell: Blacklist", which was released in 2013.

Also, a movie based on "Splinter Cell" is planned for 2017. The role of protagonist Sam Fisher will be played by popular actor Tom Hardy, who has played in such movies as "Inception", "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Warrior". It is rumored to be directed by Doug Lyman, who produced the Jason Bourne spy movies.
