After three seasons and 36 episodes, streaming service Hulu has decided not to renew the Cody Heller / Brett Conner comedy Slacker for a fourth season. Starring Tyler Labin was the first to break the news on his Twitter page, answering a fan's question about a potential fourth season.

Labin, who plays the lazy hired medium Kevin "Pak" Pakalioglu, who helps ghosts to complete his unfinished earthly affairs, wrote the following: "Unfortunately, it looks like #DeadbeatOnHulu is coming to light at the end of the tunnel. I am very upset and will miss Pak."

Later, the 38-year-old actor who played the main roles in short-lived ABC series Invasion and The CW The Reaper, added: "The series is officially canceled. Thank you @BrettKonner, @ codyhe11er & @Hulu in three wonderful seasons. Case closed! ".

The news seems to have come as a" surprise "for Cal Penn, who joined the show in season three." Seriously what? It's terrible, "the comedy star" Harold & Kumar Go Away "responded to Labin's line.

" Bummer ", which also starred Brandon T. Jackson and Kat Dealey, received positive criticism and has grown into a dedicated fanbase in three years. Since airing in 2014, the series has guest-starred James Franco, Finn Wittrock, Samantha B, Godfrey, Darrell Hammond, Jason Biggs, Efren Ramirez and Fred Armisen.
