CBS Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television announced the extension of the popular comedy "The Big Bang Theory" for another two seasons - – 11 and 12, which will be released in 2018 and 2019, respectively. It is not yet known whether the 12th season will be final.

At the time of the renewal of the series, contracts have been signed with five stars of the show: Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nair. As for Melissa Rausch and Mayem Bielik, according to insiders, their contracts will be signed in the near future. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Sources of the publication claim that under the new contracts the fees of Parsons, Galecki and Cuoco will amount to 900 thousand dollars per episode, which is 100 thousand less than the amount stipulated in previous contracts. Helberg and Nayer secured significant fee increases in the final round of negotiations. Thus, the fees of the five original sitcom stars will be equal.

As for Rausch and Bielik, they earned 175 thousand dollars per episode under the terms of contracts three years ago. They say that the fees of the actresses will increase to at least $ 400 thousand due to the "savings" on the fees of Parsons, Galecki and Cuoco with the voluntary consent of the latter.

Recall that a few days earlier, CBS ordered the production of a spin-off of the original show about childhood of the protagonist of the Sheldon Cooper series, which is called "Young Sheldon".
