Three out of five stars of The Big Bang Theory signed a new agreement with Warner Bros. Television. As a result of lengthy negotiations, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco signed a new three-year contract with a significant increase in royalties. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the contracts between Simon Helberg and Kunal Nair are still pending, but they are expected to be signed this week.

Warner Bros. Television refrains from commenting.

We remind you that in connection with the extension of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory for three seasons, re-signing of contracts with all the stars of the series was required. Mayem Bielik and Melissa Rausch signed their contracts with the studio back in September 2013 for more profitable than before, conditions. Parsons, Galecki and Cuoco demanded an increase in royalties from $ 325,000 per half-hour episode to $ 1 million. Helberg and Nayer were in talks with the studio together.

Due to the delay in negotiations, the production of the eighth season of the comedy, which is set to premiere on September 22, 2014, has been delayed for a week. How this will affect the number of episodes in the upcoming season, which is usually 24, is unknown.
