Nickelodeon Animation will create a new feature-length Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. As noted by The Hollywood Reporter, the project will be implemented in conjunction with Point Gray Pictures, which is directed by renowned actor, screenwriter and producer Seth Rogen.

Jeff Rowe, writer of the series "Gravity Falls", is appointed director. It will be Nickelodeon Animation's first rolling CG project. Note that the stories of the four heroes from the city sewer and their mentor were repeatedly movieed.

In 2007, the audience was also presented with a full-length cartoon created by Warner Bros. Pictures and The Weinstein Company. It raised nearly $ 100 million on a budget of 34 million. In 2014, the eponymous feature movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" was released, in which one of the main roles was performed by Megan Fox. Its receipts exceeded 480 million dollars, which predetermined the creation of a sequel.

It, in turn, did not arouse much interest among viewers and finished at the box office with a very modest result - 245 million dollars. The timing of the new project is still unknown.
