Terminator T1000 will become Zakhar Berkut in the Ukrainian action movie
Popular Hollywood actor Robert Patrick, known to viewers all over the world primarily for the role of Terminator T1000 from the movie "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" will play one of the main roles in the Ukrainian historical action movie "Zakhar Berkut" based on the work of Ivan Franko. As stated on the official page of the State Film Agency of Ukraine in the social network Facebook, movieing has already started in Transcarpathia in Synevyrskaya Polyana. Akhtem Seitablaev will be the director of the project. Recall that the literary source, first published in 1863, tells about the struggle of the Transcarpathian communities against the Mongol conquerors, as well as for self-determination in the middle of the 13th century. The story was movieed in 1971 by director Leonid Oskaya. The role of the Mongolian temnik in this picture was played by Borislav Brondukov, the role of Zakhar Berkut himself was played by Vasily Simchich. The project was awarded several prestigious all-Union awards. The movie crew of the new movie adaptation plans to complete work at the end of summer 2018. The release of "Zakhar Berkut" is scheduled for 2019. The exact date of the premiere at the time of this writing was not named.
