Harvey Weinstein was found guilty
Famed Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein was taken into custody after a jury of seven men and five women found him guilty on two of five charges previously brought against him by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. However, instead of a prison, Weinstein ended up in the oldest public hospital in New York - Bellevue Hospital. Immediately after the verdict was announced, he began to complain of pain, and the doctor who arrived on the call of the ambulance decided to take him to the clinic. He had high blood pressure and heart palpitations. How long Weinstein will stay in the hospital is not yet specified. Note that the producer faces a long prison sentence. The court session at which the verdict will be announced is scheduled for March 11, 2020. Organizers of the public movement Time's Up welcomed the jury's verdict, announcing the onset of a "new era" of justice.
